May is National Fitness Month so in honor of a fun month filled with squats, jumps, throws and a couple slams, Rockstar Fitness would like to talk about an important part of your daily fitness routine
*Sleep and how to rest the best.
Sleep is one thing we all need and we all do to make each day the best it can be.
Why we sleep?
Why we actually need sleep is widely unknown, but the benefits can be found simply:
-Sleeping 7-9 hours per day will help with:
>More Energy
>Better Mood
>Controls appetite
>Improved blood flow and heart health
How to get restful sleep?
There are a couple fast and hard ways to get your mind ready to sleep longer and better:
>Eat foods such as
*Blueberries
*Peanut Butter with whole grain bread
*Walnuts
*Tart Cherries
*Red Grapes
*Kiwi
Stretch for the Night Sky?
Allowing yourself to stretch out after a long day can make you more relaxed, less sore or tight, and wake more rested.
Lucky for all the wonderful humans apart of the Rockstar Nation I have a couple stretches for you to get into that restful mood you need.
