Hello and good afternoon Headliners
Today we are discussing a way to help ourselves feel better, eat better, and ways to better deal with boredom, stress, depressed, anger or just eating to pass the time.
Being bored, dealing with negative or even positive stressors is a part of life, and is a part of being a human. It’s normal and ok, to be bored, but if you have health and wellness goals or want to run a 5k in 6-weeks, you may want a strategy to avoid creating or making Not so Good habits worse. 🙂
First we should start with those negative eating habits come from a trigger that starts the ball rolling to a less than desirable choice.
A couple other factors to watch are:
-Sub-optimal nutrient intake
-Budget strains
-Reduced food variety consumed
How can we fix or be aware of our triggers and start see our Less than Ideal eating habits?
We have to slow down and notice when we start to go away from our goals and what we would like to eat.
Ask yourself,
“Am I really hungry or I am just wanting to eat”
“How is what I am doing or thinking about impacting my decision to eat”
Now that we have a couple things to do as you start to catch ourselves getting something that doesn’t fit our goals, think about what behavior is driving this.
As I mentioned before earlier being stressed, angry, depressed, or just being bored is part of being human.
Forgive yourself and don’t remain fixated on it.
Let’s get to the part where we start to act in a positive way and in true fashion I am keeping it simple for you, beloved reader 🙂
