What is Vitality?
Vitality is the state of being strong and active, to have energy.
Rockstar Nation I think that sounds very true and aligned with our strength and fitness practices. Luckily I know a guy and way to make that happen!
The definition of vitality rings very true for members of Rockstar Fitness, and the best part everyone is welcome to it.
But, where do we start and how do we start?
Start by:
•Keeping it simple
•Engaging in a regular routine
•Keep it short, 60 minutes or less
•Continue to move at work
a. Stand up and walk every hour during work for 2-3 minutes
•Take the stairs instead of the elevator
a. A study conducted showed that adults who climb 10 or more flights of stairs on a weekly basis instead of an elevator have a 24% less risk of a Stroke.
b. Power up and climb those flights
The key to starting is to start small and have a consistent routine.
A good example of this could be:
-Walking
a. Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
-Walk for 10 minutes.
-Perform 5 push-ups
-Do 5 body weight squats
It doesn’t have to be complicated to be effective.
