Movement is life
Whether we are moving through our day,
Our week,
Our month,
Time moves with us.
When we think of movement we think about
locomotion…movement of the body.
Movement and especially movement using our muscles has the ability to change our
- mood
- appetite
- Brain Function
- or the way you go about our day.
Movement has the ability to give us an edge to our day by firing up the parts of our brain that help us
- Think more clearly
- Focus on positive outcomes
- Move in the direction we desire
What are some things we can do each day that will get us firing on the right cylinder and not down the path of distraction and self-doubt?
Get the sweat flowing. 15-20 minutes is all that is needed to get the juices flowing
Jump Around….or hop like a bunny for our adventure peeps 🙂
Breathe slow and deep.
- Breath in for 5 seconds though the nose…
- and then out through the mouth for 5 seconds.
- 5 times
Stand tall
Touch your elbow to your opposite knee alternating sides for
5 minutes
Stand in the sun
Soak up the mind changing energy we call Vitamin D
